CAI-X at seminar for healthcare lawyers
CAI-X recently had the pleasure of giving presentations and facilitating workshops at a seminar for health lawyers organised by Danish Regions, where we discussed artificial intelligence in the Danish hospitals.
Over 150 lawyers gathered for a whole day, where some of the most important points discussed were:
- Difference in understanding between disciplines - you have to know the area to be able to provide good guidance
- Difference in interpretation of the legal basis, which is especially a barrier to cooperation between the regions and scaling across the country
- Legal basis: how, where and when do we find a legal basis for research, innovation and commissioning?
- Duty of disclosure when it comes to the use of AI in hospitals
- Changing legislation for training, retraining and monitoring of AI solutions
- The need to join closer together and be a little braver so that we can find common proposals in the regulatory landscape.
It was an exciting and rewarding day with many important points and insights.
